What is the Verse Development Fund?

The Verse Development Fund is accepting grant applications from developers and other ecosystem participants with an initial focus on Decentralized Applications (dApps), integrations, projects, and events that support Bitcoin.com’s Verse community.
“The VERSE token, and therefore the entire Verse ecosystem, adds tremendous value by incentivizing uptake of Bitcoin.com’s products and services, building loyalty, and nudging people to dive deeper where there are more opportunities to benefit from the economic freedom enabled by decentralized finance. The resources made available by the Fund will spur innovation and growth within the Verse, and broader Bitcoin.com, communities, making it even more valuable to the people who use it."

The Verse Development Fund draws its resources from the VERSE token supply, 34% of which is allocated to the Fund. Tokens are made available to the Fund on a block-by-block basis linearly over seven years.
