How to Buy Bitcoin Cash (BCH) with a Credit Card

You may have tried to buy Bitcoin before in the past, possibly in person locally or using an online exchange. If you have, you probably learned that neither are easy and both take a long time. If you haven’t and this is your first time buying bitcoin, don’t worry we have you covered. In this guide, we will teach you the quick and easy way to buy Bitcoin Cash so you can get your hands on your bitcoins and be well on your way to becoming an active participant in the Bitcoin economy.

Using a credit card to buy Bitcoin Cash

Buying Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is super simple with our Buy Bitcoin page. In just a few steps you can get your hands on your digital cash. The first step is to visit https://buy.bitcoin.com and you will see a screen similar to the one below where you can choose to buy Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin Core. Click on Buy Bitcoin Cash with Credit Card to get started (highlighted area in blue).

After you click on the buy button, you will be presented with the buy page. On this page there are only two steps you need to do:

  1. Enter in the amount of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) you want to buy denominated in BCH or your country’s local currency (you can toggle both amount fields).
  2. Enter in your Bitcoin Cash address to receive the bitcoins to. If you don’t have a Bitcoin wallet yet, you can download a wallet here. Click Continue to proceed.

After you are ready to buy, you will head on over to the checkout page where you will enter in your details so you can complete your purchase of Bitcoin Cash.

Usually payments are processed within the hour; however, some cases require more attention and can take up to 24 hours to be approved. You will receive an email once your payment has been reviewed. If your transaction is still pending, it might be because you have yet to submit to a verification request. In such cases, an email is sent asking for proof of identity or card ownership – which can land in your spam folder. In case of delays, please check your spam folder for a verification email.

If you live in the United States this service is not yet available to you as state licenses are in the process of being obtained. Also, some other countries are not eligible at this time; see a full list of ineligible countries.
